The festival showcased a variety of performances, beginning with a group dance from 8:30 am to 9:10 am. After a short break, the students performed group songs from 9:30 am to 10:10 am, accompanied by enthusiastic cheering. One of the highlights of the day was the Shingarimelam performance from 10:20 am to 11:00 am, which captivated the audience. Cheering continued after the performances, creating a lively atmosphere until 11:20 am.The event was efficiently organized by conveners Soumya J., Lekshmi Rangan, Sruthy Raveendran, and Rajeswari M. Their dedicated efforts ensured the smooth execution of the fest. Rev. Fr. Xavier Ampatt CMI provided an appraisal of the event, appreciating the students` talents and efforts. **Christ Nagar Central School Youth Festival 2024-25 `Chris Estrade` Ignites...**The school youth festival of Christ Nagar Central School, `Chris Estrade 2024,` was inaugurated by Dr. G.S. Pradeep, Vice Chairman of Vailoppilly Samskrithi Bhavan, by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The event took place on Thursday, July 18, at 8:30 AM in the school auditorium, presided over by the school manager, Rev. Fr. Paul Mangad CMI. The school principal, Rev. Fr. Xavier Ampatt CMI, and vice principal, Rev. Fr. Robin Pathinarilchira CMI, extended their greetings.Academy coordinator Mrs. Jayajacob Koshi, Arts Club Secretaries Princi P.S., Bhagavat S., and Arundhati R. participated in the event. The chief guest interacted with the children, providing numerous examples to boost their confidence. International Yoga Day Celebrations at Christ Nagar Central School, rChrist Nagar Central School celebrated International Yoga Day with a week-long event from June 15 to June 21, 2024. The celebrations kicked off with a mass sun salutation and included a variety of competitions aimed at highlighting the importance of yoga among students. These competitions included logo making, painting, slogan writing, Yogasana, debate, and a yoga quiz.The week also featured demonstrations of yoga poses, Natya yoga (yoga dance), human pyramids, rhythmic yoga sessions, a yoga awareness rally, singing of yoga songs, and displaying yoga-themed paintings. Additionally, students participated in the `Talk on the Yoga Guru,` showcased different yoga poses using the Fit India Yoga mobile app, and painted school walls with yoga postures.In a heartwarming outreach, students visited the Marian Play Home, organizing a yoga and music session for differently-abled students, and provided lunch and toys, exemplifying the spirit of social service.The celebration successfully promoted physical and mental well-being through yoga, engaging students and the community alike.
