Udaan 2025 – 20th Annual Science Fair Inaugurated at Christ Nagar Central SchoolThe much-awaited “Udaan 2025 – 20th Annual Science Fair” of Christ Nagar Central School, Kowdiar, was inaugurated on 31st October 2025 at 8:00 a.m. The event celebrated curiosity, creativity, and scientific spirit, providing a platform for students to explore and exhibit their innovative ideas.The inaugural function was graced by Dr. V. Adimurthy, Former Associate Director, VSSC and Honorary Distinguished Professor, ISRO, who served as the Chief Guest. In his inspiring address, Dr. Adimurthy emphasized the importance of scientific curiosity and innovation among students, encouraging them to think beyond textbooks and contribute to the nation’s scientific progress.The programme commenced with a prayer by the school choir, followed by a welcome speech delivered by Kumari Michelle George (Head Girl). Rev. Fr. Paul Mangad CMI, Manager, Christ Nagar Group of Schools, delivered the presidential address, and Ms. Sindhu R. Nair, Convenor, presented the Aims and Objectives of the fair.The inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Adimurthy, after which Rev. Fr. Xavier Ampatt CMI, Principal, shared his message. A memento was presented to the Chief Guest by Rev. Fr. Robin Pathinathilchirra CMI, Vice Principal & Bursar. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Master Ganesh Jayakrishnan (Head Boy).The science fair featured various student exhibits and projects highlighting innovative scientific ideas and practical applications. The event also included an Inter-School Debate Competition on 30th October 2025, marking a two-day celebration of knowledge and discovery.“Udaan 2025” truly reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing scientific temper and creative thinking among students.

Fr Antony Elamthottam CMI, Provincial, St. Joseph’s Province, Trivandrum, who inspired the audience with his insightful words and congratulated the institution on achieving this remarkable milestone.A melodious Duet added a touch of celebration to the event, followed by the Presentation of Memento to the Chief Guest as a token of gratitude. Avani Melam 2025 at Christ Nagar Central SchoolThe Onam celebration of Christ Nagar Central School, “Avani Melam 2025,” was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister for Food, Shri G.R. Anil, by lighting the ceremonial lamp.In his inaugural address, the Minister stated that the government remains firmly committed to the mission of a hunger-free Kerala and has taken up the great responsibility of ensuring food for all, leading the state towards success. He also extended warm Onam greetings to the students.The function was presided over by the School Manager, Rev. Fr. Paul Mangad CMI. The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Ansa Maria Saju. The Principal, Rev. Fr. Xavier Ambatt CMI, conveyed heartfelt Onam wishes, while the Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Robin Pathinarilchira CMI, presented a memento to the Chief Guest. Academic Coordinator Mrs. Jaya Jacob Koshy also graced the occasion with her presence.Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions by the Chief Guest. This was followed by vibrant cultural performances by students and teachers, which added color and charm to the celebrations. The vote of thanks was proposed by Master Evin Anand Jones.The Onam celebrations were successfully coordinated under the leadership of the conveners, Mrs. Sinu K.J., Mrs. Jyotsna S.R., and Mrs. Lakshmi M. Nair.
When Students Became Teachers…This year’s Students’ Day at Christ Nagar Central School was held on Thursday, August 19 in the school auditorium.The ceremony was presided over by School Principal Rev. Fr. Xavier Ampatt CMI, with Program Coordinator Remya G. R. delivering the welcome address. Vice Principal Robin Pathinarilchira CMI extended his greetings.Student Principal Kumari Shreya P. Nair received the symbolic key of authority from the School Principal, Rev. Fr. Xavier Ampatt CMI.Among the elected student leaders were:*School Principal – Kumari Shreya P.
