Colourful Christmas and Annual Day Celebrations at Christ Nagar Central School The Christmas and Annual Day celebrations of Christ Nagar Central School for this year were inaugurated on Tuesday, December 10, at 4:30 PM by His Grace Dr. Mathews mar poly carpus Auxiliary Bishop of the Major Archeparchy of Trivandrum. In his Christmas message, he expressed hopes for the season to bring goodness and love to everyone, likening it to the sweetness of cake and the simplicity of the nativity scene, filling lives with joy and harmony. Renowned writer Benyamin shared the real-life experiences of Goat Days protagonist Najeeb Muhammad, recounting the poignant moments of his life in the desert that moved readers and himself to tears, during the keynote address. The event, presided over by the school manager Rev. Fr. Paul Mangad CMI, also featured the Annual Report presentation by Principal Rev. Fr. Xavier Ampatt CMI. A mesmerizing musical performance by Master Muhammad Ziyan Sadiq, a singer and holder of Musical India and Asia Book of Records 2024, added to the festive cheer, along with a Christmas choir featuring over 150 students. Other highlights included competitions for the best Christmas Tree and Crib, carol singing, and vibrant cultural performances. Outstanding academic achievers were felicitated by His Grace Dr. Mathews Mar Polycarpus. Rev. Fr. **Christ Nagar Central School Celebrates Kerala Piravi with ‘Malayala Shree’**As part of Kerala Piravi celebrations, the Malayalam Department of Christ Nagar Central School organized *Malayala Shree 2024*. The event was inaugurated by the Kottayam Sub-District Education Officer, renowned scriptwriter, orator, storyteller, poetess, and Middle East textbook awardee, **Mrs. Binu Thankachi**, by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Through storytelling and recitation, the esteemed guest conveyed the essence of Kerala Piravi to the students. The school Principal, **Rev. Fr. The 19th Science Fair, *Ecoforge*, was inaugurated on November 9 at Christ Nagar Central School, with the theme "Empowering a Sustainable Tomorrow through STEM." Prof. Dr. Suresh C.H. (Director, SRIBS) inaugurated the event, while the school manager, Rev. Fr. Paul Mangad CMI, presided over the function. Rev. Fr. Xavier Ampatt CMI, Principal, extended his greetings, and Rev. Fr. Students showcased their ideas in 45 rooms across categories like science, mathematics, technology, social science, literature, and more, presenting static models, working models, and on-the-spot exhibits.A major highlight was the "Waste Management: The Right Approach" mega project, led by students from the school’s four houses—Everest, Apollo, Olympic, and Expo. This project demonstrated innovative solutions to waste management and drew attention from all visitors. Additionally, a Mobile Virology Lab organized by the Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology captivated attendees, sparking curiosity and promoting scientific awareness.The exhibition, which began at 9 a.m., concluded at 3:30 p.m., providing an engaging and educational experience.
