October 2 : Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated at Christ Nagar with great zeal and enthusiasm.Our School Principal, Rev. Fr. Bino Pattarkalam CMI addressed the function and highlighted the importance to uplift the values and ideas of Gandhiji among all the students. Principal told the students to follow the footsteps of the Father of the Nation and to be self-reliant like him. Students delivered talks on the life and principles of Mahatma Gandhi. Inspired with Gandhian values and thoughts, all students of the school vowed to abandon the addiction to digital games. Our school has decided to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti week from 02.10.21 to 09.10.21 with an aim to spread the crusade of cleanliness.
This year, the coronavirus pandemic dampened the festive spirit around Onam and people were advised to celebrate indoors. However the spirit of harmony and humanity has not been mitigated in any way, instead it has connected the CNS family members in a better way.Our “Virtual Onam Celebration” was streamed on 20 August, 2021. Smt Aparna Rajeev, play back singer, grand daughter of Shri ONV Kurup , who always pleases us with his mellifluous voice and his signature style in rendition inaugurated the function.

Independence Day: August 15: A Day of immense pride for all Indians as we commemorate the sacrifices made by millions of our freedom fighters, who had sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle. This year, we are celebrating 75th year of our Independence from British rule.Independence Day celebrations at Christ Nagar commenced with the Flag hoisting ceremony. Our School Principal, Rev. Fr. Bino Pattarkalam CMI hoisted our National Flag and delivered the Independence Day speech. Principal emphasised on the role of present generation in instilling and nurturing values displayed by the freedom fighters and attributes such as commitment, discipline and zeal amongst the children and youth so that they stand up for the cause and build a bright future for our country. Mr. Manoj Abraham IPS, ADGP, State Crime Records Bureau and Nodal Officer of CyberDome, addressed the event and recalled the importance of democracy and freedom.The Department of Social Science headed the Independence Day celebrations. Various activities were organized online successfully with a vivacious participation from students.
